Pinzgau Walk

The classic long-distance hiking trail in Glemmtal takes you along the promising ridge from Schattberg Ostgipfel to the Schmittenhöhe high above Zell am See. Even if the hike "only" requires an elevation gain of 650 meters, its total length of 18 kilometers should not be underestimated. Start at 7:30 a.m. at the Schattberg X-Press - there is an early trip from Monday to Friday.
There are no mountain huts on the way, so good tour planning is also very important here: have enough food and water in your backpack, good equipment (no sneakers!) & check the weather forecast beforehand, after all, a thunderstorm on the mountain should not be underestimated!

Together with the Home of Lässig Walk and the Seven Summits, the Pinzgau Walk forms the Saalbach Hiking Challenge.

The secret of moving forward is to take the first step.
