Rooftop Events

In the framework of the event series “Rooftop-Culture from the Rooftop above the Village” the garden with its incomparable ambience becomes an open-air stage in no time.

Experience musicians and cabaret artists quite differently - in the midst of a prosperous, festive illuminated paradise, or grab your friends and a picnic blanket and enjoy a movie night under the starry skies of Saalbach.

Rooftop Cinema

Rooftop cinema at the Hotel Saalbacher Hof
We turn the Rooftop Garden into a cinema.

Every Thursday in July and August! 

Free admission!

PS: In case of bad weather the cinema will be in the café.

One highlight is the large “traditions area” with a tractor show, numerous exhibitors from different sectors and music from local bands. Other attractions include the Farmers’ Market traditional costume golf, the large children’s area and the traditional procession at 4 pm on Saturday with numerous carriages and local clubs.

Rooftop Kino
A cinema evening of another kind! On the lawn chair or in the cool grass—everyone will find his or her personal favourite place for a movie night of inspiration. There are films which are meant to be thought-provoking and at the same time insanely positive. Films such as Tomorrow—The World Is full of Solutions, the award-winning documentary The Economics of Happiness, as well as our favourite film Happy nominated by the Acadamy Awards are part of the project.The movie will be showns in German or English with subtitles. Entry: 8.00 p.m.Start: 8.30 p.m.Free admission!

Fieberbrunn is the only spot of the SWATCH Freeride World Tour in Austria and Germany. The world's best freeriders have to climb to the top of the Wildseelder in around 40 minutes before they drop their lines from the start at an altitude of 2.118 m. From the Contest Village at Lärchfilzkogel, spectators watch the spectacular runs. This event is definetly a MUST SEE!
