When you think of upper-class gastronomy one is quickly tempted to count stars and toques. That, and always having everything, is not our intention. In our restaurant, however, everything is freshly prepared and, above all, regional, but still international. We do not compromise with quality. Anton Enzinger, our chef de cuisine of twenty years, with his sense of the taste of guests, aims to impress with freshness and rich variety.

If you book your stay with half board you benefit twice! You will start the day with a great breakfast buffet with cold and warm treats as well as with freshly prepared green smoothies, which will definetly give you energy for a great day. In the evening a five course dinner is standard, as well as a daily changing salads buffet. Of course the choice in between different types of courses is a must. You have the choice - either you choose our gusto- or lifetime menu. Of course it can also be vegetarian. 


Once a week there is also a special evening: our 5 Elements Gala Dinner. This evening is created in mind of the 5 elements that are used in the kitchen. This, for a healthy person, is a pleasant, varied, seasonal and regional kitchen, which is adapted to the thermic effect and flavor of the ingredients and their impact on the human depending on the season. As a savour is the spectacular dessert buffet, that has been created by our patissier. These are just a few of the highlights served up by the Saalbacher Hof kitchen team.

For all of you who want to be more healthy even during pleasure moments at the dinner, there ist the possibility to choose between the normal menu or the Lifetimemenu - your chance for vitality. Both can be characterized through there balanced ingredients and there local products but one of this menus i without very fat or sweet food.
